Day 3: Silent Echo- Frame and axle diff PDF Print E-mail

Today did lots of tubular mesh work, concentrate building rectangular main frame, differential axles, center drive shafts and brushless motor. 3d task protocol: Tubular object >> reset uv map >> map >> stretch >> scaling >> detach surface >> normalized >> move. Sound like a simple procedure but placing the object according to design logic is very tricky. Since i expect most of the parts suppose to be at low CG i have to carefully positioned those heavy electric motor at the right place. As you can see this car have only one electric brushless motor, torque power will be handled by automated shifting gear box that should have big spur located inside the big circular case bridging between the motor and the rear differential axle ..later.
