Welcome to SupermotoXL Developer Kit (Original model development kit).  This page is the heart and original resources of my designs, the quality and originals is here where enthusiast modeler, game developer and avid add-on/game mods can grab/download some models in here for their various projects.  Here are some of the uncompiled models which i've previously designed now available for public usage.   If you need to find perfect models for your project, model editing, game add-on porting, conversion, animation or just modding for showcase then this is the right place for you to download raws of high quality models.  Each models are perfectly built and ready to be ported into any games genre or simply for having fun.
The content attached with this package contain 3d meshes, texture and support file that only to be use for 3d models development, modification and editing purposes.  For 4x4evo1 and 4x4evo2 fans who wish to download "workable add-on for 4x4evo1/2 game" please go to my website and download it at car/truck download section.  Enjoy.

EXAGE CD 20.0 XL-AM is a rebuilt model of the original standard version of "MAXXIMUS" with re-enhanced under carriage lower mainframe structure to support suspension hydraulic, struts and robust axle size.  Lower skid  bar added to the axle for better protection and side tanks for better fuel mileage.   Each wheels supported with 4 suspension struts and several hydraulic linkages.

"ZEN" have overall physic of Nitro fueled RC truck .  The main chassis is higher off the ground made clearance for the suspension to expand and compress at high velocity compression.

During its construction on 3d modeler program i just concentrate on rebuilder the lower part of the truck which consist of complex restructuring work of its chassis but keeping its polycount at safe level to avoid possible lagging  on normal PC spec setup.  There's also increase of polycount on the front and rear axle by 40% of face/vertices because due to adding extra bars and custom skidplates.  Customizing from normal "MAXXIMUS" to "ZEN" only took 2 days which include custom racing theme paint finishing on its body.  The wheel however  was built a month before and it took just a day.  Handling and performance similar too previous version of "MAXXIMUS" except with more flex and supple suspension setup.  After testing "ZEN" this models built for those who would like to have fun on the dirt hill and do lots of dirt blasting jump just like any Nitro powered radio control in real life.  Enjoy!

 

  
• Design History

I got tired having to design same genre of design which i usually follow the import and euro trends.  This months i'm trying a new taste. Going for western classic muscle car blends its retro to present day design.  What my heart says, "need power, muscle, bulk, power and anger".  This is the feeling when you see such car which sparks that feeling in you.  Tracking down ideas for new muscles design imanage to get some glimpse and preview on several western American muscle and pick up some iconic car like CAMARO, BARRACUDA, HEMI and CHALLENGER.  These car is very inspirational for me and the looks can be very fierce for my design ideas.  Blend them together in a bowl and add some spices to current style body line and contour i manage to come up with a design which could well acceptable as so call retro road going sports car.  Months later, my design production give birth to first and most classic retro ever design in my department, with so exaggerated retro looks i called it : "EXAGE:   a hybrid of American Muscle car (AM)".    The official name will be "EXAGE CD 20.0 XL-AM".

As shown EXAGE carries several signature which trace back to classic muscle looks of western wild road roarer.   A modernized classic:  Chromed gril/bumper/wheels, circular dual headlights, long linear horizontal like body line, combed slope hatchback, wide open frontal vent for direct air ramping, bulge wheel wells/fender, curve ship hull like skirting.  All classic heritage of this legendary sign of muscle car well intact and preserve to this modern day world.

The wheel design also very bulky big and phat tires ready for road drag thus looks more urban styling too.  The wheels insipred from drag racing design but blended with urban *bling to give it more aggressive and luxury looks.

In a single glance at EXAGE, the car looks will send you a very simple message eyes to eyes "move over!, this is my turf".  EXAGE:  its all about retro power and and explosion of speed passion.

 

THE DESIGN
The construction:  Building an EXAGE from scratch doesn't took that long to complete when compared to my previous design.  With reference to other exotic muscle design from the waste and simplicity design in mind without complexity if an import car the work only took less than a month (2 weeks) on 3d modeler tools such as Z-modeler.  I build something that is visible to the eyes from outside, the internal parts like engine and bits of details that hides behind the walls and hood will not be constructed thus save polygon weight and easy processing for any PC CPU to avoid lag problem on complex 3d models  unlike its exotic grandpa the NEMIXIS which have insane CPU/GPU killer pollies in and out of the body.

To save the 3d development time i've re-use back the interior models of "MAXXIMUS" off-road truck which previously built last month ago.  These interior parts recycled include, seats, dashboards, floor, tiles, audio (ICE) and gearbox.  It save me extra 5 days development....yeah! lazy work for me eh?.  Axle parts taken from my custom design parts inventory while the base plate under carriage is from X3-SIXTY base plate.

To modernized the looks on EXAGE, i've design parts like stacked LED brake lights, HID clear headlights (beamer style), Six hole drag style wheelsets, solid radiator decoration grill bar, body shaped exhaust nozzle and sleek and simple 350Z style door handle and DB coupe hatch batch.

For more slammed looks i made several variant with several theme paint jobs and unique body coloring using multiple layer of color to create anodized color on its body panel.  Overall EXAGE looks simply cool and easy to every eyes who  view design which makes simple creation a works of wonder.

 Important note : 3d models checklist and notes
Please read the note below regarding the 3d meshes and texture issue.
In this SDK package include several material that should attached along together with this file these are:
   
1. *.Z3D file (Z-modeler format)
2. *.TGA file (Multiple of hi-resolution texture set)
3.  Sample of images file, 3d screenshots of actual models and image screenshot and details from 4x4evo1 and 4x4evo2 realtime in-game simulation.
   
  Before you start make sure you have proper 3d program/modeler tools.  I recommend you to download Z-modeler v1.07 or  Z-modeler v2 to open and edit *.Z3D file. You can download it at http://www.zmodeler2.com  But if you already own a 3D Studio tools then you can open the existing *.3DS file attached in this package.  But for high compatibility when viewing this models i recommend Z-modeler.
   
  By default these 3d meshes/models as usual runs perfect when editing using Z-MODELER tools because it was built using this tools from scratch,  *.Z3D extension format is default Z-MODELER file.  Before you open the *.Z3D file into Z-modeler program make sure the all *.TGA texture file located in the same location/directory where *.Z3D file is located else you'll have blank white meshes/models upon opening in Z-modeler.
   
  Make sure you double check if your Z-modeler or your 3D Studio program render the models as similar and as accurate as shown/published inside the models screenshots/images attached with this package.  Make sure the reflection effect, transparency and parts are perfectly exhibited/shown correctly on your 3d tools view port.
